HSV-Adegeest Confidential Committee
HSV Adegeest wants to be a safe baseball and softball club, where everyone enjoys playing baseball and softball and feels at home at the club.
Together we do everything we can to prevent inappropriate behavior such as bullying, conflicts and arguments, discrimination and sexual harassment within our club to ensure a pleasant and safe environment.
The experience within various sports clubs has shown that, unfortunately, there are also moments and events where inappropriate behavior could not be prevented.
At HSV Adegeest we would like to be ahead of this.
That is one of the reasons why a confidential committee has been appointed within our club.
It acts as a central point of contact to ensure that the way we interact with each other within the club is respectful and safe.
Prevention is better than cure
You can contact the confidential committee with questions that you find difficult to ask or that you are afraid will not be taken seriously. You can raise issues with the committee, but also with the individual members of this committee, whichever you prefer. The most important thing is that you report any inappropriate behavior if it occurs.
This applies to everyone: members, volunteers and parents/guardians.
Realize that reporting quickly and talking about it will ensure that an unwanted situation is ended (early), that the behavior does not get worse and stops, and that recurrence is prevented.
